Credit Default Swaps contracts are in the news big way, lately. Mainly, because the destructive potential they have to the financial stability, in case of questionable practices going on unchecked.

Hopefully, the worst will never happen. But, it’s about time financial regulators have a close look at the trillion of dollars hiding behind CDS contracts, and who has written them.
